The Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) is home to the National Fetal Therapy Center, established in 1965 by professor Jack Bennebroek Gravenhorst, one of the world's pioniers in fetal blood transfusion. The center provides unique and innovative care in the field of fetal therapy and is able to do so by intensively collaborating with international institutions. Some of the world's most advanced and unique treatments take place in the center based on groundbreaking international research, education and innovations. This expert event, hosted by the LUMC Global program, will showcase the latest innovations and zoom in on several themes mentioned below. It will also emphasize the importance of international collaborations. We hope to not only give you insight into the latest developments in the field, but also spur you on to connect with us, to build a community to improve the care for the tiniest of patients even further.
